Positions

Senior UX Designer
Key roles for the Senior UX Designer

  • Inspire and mentor others on the User Experience team

  • Initiate and manage user experience research and testing processes

  • Perform metrics analysis to inform design/UX optimisation efforts

  • Oversee close coordination with the Client's team to develop a shared vision of a product and then lead a process to define the experience and design to deliver on the product & business objectives

  • Partner with the technology team to ensure we leverage the scale offered by our platform without compromising on core experiential principles

  • Work strategically with other executives and team members across the organisation

  • Partner with others in the broader design community to develop and extend the experience across the array of offerings


Minimum Requirements



  • International UX experience will be an advantage.

  • An informed set of core values regarding user experience, user research, usability, technology, and business communication and the ability to present them with eloquence and concision.

  • An online portfolio that demonstrates your ability to turn ideas into a strong and unique creative vision. An online portfolio or work samples demonstrating a range of artefacts developed in creating a variety of stunning user-centred design solutions. This is a requirement for application.

  • Demonstrated fluency in best practices for web-based and mobile information architecture and responsive design, as well as deep and broad knowledge of international usability principles and techniques.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive the design review cycle, close on design requirements and achieve consensus.

  • Strong user experience skill set including strategy, information architecture, and design aesthetic

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in digital design, graphic design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.

  • Proven ability in a variety of design tools such as Axure, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.

  • Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.

  • Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating beautiful and user-friendly web applications business software, mobile apps and consumer-facing features.

  • Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to roll up the sleeves and do what is necessary to meet team goals. Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or Flash.

  • Experience working with agile development teams (agile/scrum).

  • Web-based or mobile application visual design in a global context.

  • Experience creating style guides, pattern libraries, and other design solutions that drive design across large organizations.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills; demonstrated success in building buy-in for an innovative, bold, strategic vision. Fluent in English with a proven track record of presenting to and influencing senior management.

Intermediate UX Designer
Key roles for the Intermediate UX Designer

  • You will help set the overall tone for experiences across all mobile, desktop, and web apps.

  • Create innovative interaction designs through explorations, user flows, wireframes, and behaviour specifications.

  • Engage with development to understand platform capabilities, communicate designs, support agile development, and verify design implementations.

  • Work closely with engineering teams, design and product management to deliver products to market with new features and improvements.

  • Work with UX research teams, UX strategists and business strategist to understand user behaviour, user needs, business needs, and platform/OS.

  • Interface with customer support to ensure customer needs are prioritised and app quality continuously improved.

  • Create design specifications to the understanding of engineers, and adapt your designs to emerging engineering constraints.

  • Run ad-hoc usability tests with customer/end users when needed.

  • Work in a diverse team, adhering to best practice international UX standards and methodologies.

  • Be an active advocate for this discipline within the organisation: mentor junior staff around key usability concepts, UX principals, international best practices and practical applications.


Minimum Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, human factors engineer, or similar.

  • International experience as a designer will be an advantage

  • Understanding of user-centred design principles, design systems, and usability research methods.

  • Experience in designing for cross-platform experiences.
    (Mobile, Desktop, Web).

  • Knowledge of design and production tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, Axure.

  • Proven experience defining, developing, and documenting UX design and interaction requirements/specifications.

  • Have a passion for design and possesses user –centric design experience with wireframes, prototypes and creating production level assets.

  • Ability to own and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • An end-user advocate, driving user needs and goals into both creative and pragmatic design solutions.

  • Training in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Communication Arts, and Information Design.

  • Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to roll up the sleeves and do what is necessary to meet team goals. Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or Flash.

  • Must provide a portfolio that demonstrates superior UX skills along with your process and thinking.

  • Experience designing B2C applications or B2B products a plus.
